About Takako
Takako grew up in Japan but also lived in Brazil for a time. She has studied calligraphy and English and attended calligraphy workshops with world-renowned teachers. In 2011, she moved to North Carolina, where she enjoys the natural world and still works on her calligraphy. Takako has been a calligraphy teacher since the 1990s. She enjoys teaching regular classes, held once a week or every two weeks. Unlike workshops, regular classes allow students to study step by step and learn more effective practice methods.
